As the year comes to an end, it is a time of reflection and refocus before we begin a new season. I like to take some space away from the busy-ness of business and the wonderful chaos of family and find a still and quiet space to reflect on the last twelve months. You will need about an hour to do this. Grab your favourite drink, get some space and a journal and thin through these questions:
Pause: Make yourself away of God’s presence
General
- What are the five most significant events that have happened to me or in me this year?
- What has been the area that has consumed my thinking and attention this year?
- In the past 12 months, where I have experienced the greatest sense of goodness & life?
- In the past 12 months, where I have experienced the greatest sense of hurt, fear or loss?
What ONE word would sum up this past year?
Faith
